YuE2

YuE2 creates vocal songs or instrumental tracks. Describe the genre, mood, and instruments, then supply your lyrics for vocals or choose Instrumental only in Advanced. Optional instrumental lyrics or section tags help shape the track's flow and duration, with no minimum length and a 10,000-character maximum. Lyrics guide planning only; exact duration and section order are not guaranteed. Instrumental tracks may still include singing or wordless vocalizations, such as humming. On MachGen it takes a style prompt of up to 1,000 characters and, for vocal songs, 400 to 10,000 characters of lyrics. It returns lossless FLAC and accepts a seed for repeatable takes. Audio is capped at approximately six minutes; songs reaching the limit are truncated and returned successfully. Hosted on MachGen with one flat price per generation.

Using YuE2

  1. Choose a supported generation mode in Playground.
  2. Add the required prompt and source or reference assets.
  3. Select output settings from the controls shown for that mode.
  4. Generate, then inspect the returned asset before reusing the settings through the API.

How to get better YuE2 results

  • Describe the genre, tempo, and instruments in the style prompt, and use the lyrics field for words and section tags.
  • For vocals, write 400 to 10,000 characters of lyrics. For instrumental tracks, enable Instrumental only in Advanced; lyrics are optional, with no minimum length and a 10,000-character maximum.
  • Instrumental lyrics or section tags such as [Intro], [Verse], [Chorus], and [Outro] help shape the track's flow and duration. Lyrics guide planning only; exact duration and section order are not guaranteed.
  • Instrumental tracks may still include singing or wordless vocalizations, such as humming.
  • Songs are capped at approximately six minutes. Audio reaching the limit is truncated and returned successfully. Use shorter lyrics to help the song finish.
  • For vocal songs, describe the vocal character in the style prompt, such as breathy female pop or gritty male rock.
